Twinkling or Steady?

The holidays are here!  Folks are prepping their homes to celebrate!  Advent starts this week, and Hanukkah begins on December 8th.  Soon the latkes and cookies will be gobbled up and hot cocoa will be the beverage of choice.

Have you started decorating?  If you have a Christmas tree do you choose multicolored or white lights only, twinkling or steady, the tiny LEDs or the old-fashioned chunky ones?  Maybe your tree has some of both.  We use both in our home.  Do you eat your latkes with sour cream or applesauce?  I must say I like to alternate.

In light of all the fun, and yes the stress, that is on the way, I have included a few links that you might find helpful.  Here is a link for eight new-to-me latke recipes.  I also found a site that has a gazillion Hanukkah recipes you might enjoy.  We can all use some easy and elegant ideas for Christmas decorating.   And it always seems like our homes need some TLC before the guests descend.  Click on the hypertext to find some easy upgrades.

I hope you enjoy and can use the holiday tips and recipes.  As always, you can call me at 508 740-6212 or email me at bill@larkinpainting.net if you have any questions about paint or paint projects.
