Hello, I’m Bill Larkin. I’ve been in the painting business for over thirteen years. I’ve met many wonderful people as customers, vendors, and other professional associates. Creating beauty through painting with other people is another way of caring for our world.

I believe that when we take care of our space and surroundings, we are in the words of the spiritual writer Thomas Moore taking “care of soul.” Larkin painters think of themselves as helping in the “care of soul” when caring for your property.

When I decided to start a painting business in 1995, I incorporated the values I learned from my family and from my years helping people: teamwork, service, taking responsibility and respect. In my business, respect for a person begins with respecting their property as if it were my own.

I bring experience and expertise in painting to my customer who knows best what vision they have for their property. By listening carefully, asking good questions, taking responsibility for quality workmanship, I help make your vision a reality.

Bill's Story

I grew up in the Berkshire Hills of Massachusetts, as one of eight children and the oldest son of a businessman and an artist. As a young boy, nothing delighted me more than playing baseball, serving as an altar boy in our local parish, helping my father in his business, and spending hours in the woods fascinated with the beauty of nature.

After graduating from UConn with a degree in sociology and education, I attended seminary at Catholic University and also obtained a graduate degree in Pastoral Ministry from St. Joseph’s College. After twenty rewarding years in the ministry, I am now married with two adult children and four delightful grandchildren.
