Congratulations Emerson!

Congratulations to Emerson Ferreira on his eleven-year work anniversary. Emerson was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and moved to the United States in 1999. His original plan was to come here to learn English and then return to Brazil to continue his studies in business administration. Impressed by the energy America invests in maintaining our country’s beauty, he decided to stay.

Emerson's family

Emerson joined The Larkin Painting Company team in 2008. After a lot of hard work and dedication, he became an American citizen in 2010. He diligently worked his way up and was promoted to Project Manager, a role in which he excels. He takes pride in his work and in being a mentor and role model to the newer team members. Emerson takes great care in his craft and pays close attention to all of the details of our customers’ projects. He especially loves to bring his expertise to the trimwork in a home-one of the trickiest areas to paint in a space. One of his favorite methods of paint application is spraying. This technique results in an almost glass-like finish. Emerson says that the absolute best reward for him is seeing our customers’ beaming faces after the work is done. He is proud to use his talents to transform people’s homes and help them enjoy more comfort and happiness in their new environment.

Emerson's two kids

When he is not working Emerson enjoys music (alternative rock in particular), soccer, and spending time with his wife, Simone, and their three children, Hannah (12, (who was born on the Fourth of July), Antonio (5) and little baby Alice (16 months). We are so lucky he changed his mind and chose to stay and make his home in the United States. The Larkin Painting Company and our customers benefit from his industriousness, energy, integrity, and his commitment to craft and vision. Our Larkin Painting community would not be the same without him! We extend our congratulations to Emerson and thank him for his years of dedication and craftsmanship!
