Meet Emerson

Here at The Larkin Painting Company we are incredibly proud of our team.  Meet Emerson Ferreira.  Emerson was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  He moved to the United States in 1999.  His original plan was to come here to learn English and then return to Brazil to continue his business administration studies.  Impressed by America’s cultural organization, the energy we invest  in maintaining our country’s beauty, as well as how hard-working its people are, Emerson decided to stay.

Emerson

Before joining The Larkin Painting Company, Emerson worked as a cook in an Italian restaurant.  There he began his quest for American citizenship and received his green card in 2004.  Emerson joined The Larkin Painting Company team in 2008.  After a lot of hard work and dedication, he became an American citizen in 2010.  He diligently worked his way up and is now an excellent crew leader.  Emerson takes pride in his work and in being a mentor and role model to the newer team members.  He takes great care in his craft and pays close attention to all of the details of our customers’ projects.  He especially loves to bring his expertise to the trimwork in a home- you know, that really meticulous part of painting.  The absolute best reward for Emerson is seeing our customers’ beaming faces after the work is done.  He is proud to use his talents to transform people’s homes and help them enjoy more comfort and happiness in their new environment.

When he is not working Emerson enjoys music, the Beach Boys in particular, and soccer.  We are so happy Emerson changed his mind and chose to stay and make his home in the United States.  The Larkin Painting Company and our customers benefit from his industriousness, energy, integrity, and his commitment to craft and vision.
