Client Reunion

Fifteen years ago, Larkin Painting completed a renovation project for our most recent client. Bill Larkin has known them for over fifteen years. We always love it when clients return to us. We love catching up with them and we really enjoy having the chance to work on their homes and spaces again. Over time our clients’ visions for their spaces change, and we help them create their new visions and transform them into a new reality.

On this recent project, our client needed to refresh the look of their home. It had been fifteen years since we had created a beautiful environment for them. They didn’t realize that Bill had retired when they contacted us a few weeks back. Tom Fitzpatrick answered their call and met with them to review the project and complete the estimate. Our client was thrilled that the Larkin Painting Experience is still an enjoyable and positive one, even after fifteen years and a change of ownership. They said, “Tom was great. He was available to us for anything we needed. He is a professional, and he took charge of the situation”.

Due to the scope of their project, our client had other contractors in their house along with the Larkin Painting team. In a situation where many contractors are working on the same property, the situation can become confused and out of that confusion, there are delays and frustration. However, Tom worked to ensure that all of the tasks were completed on time and that no aspect of the project spiraled out of control. As with many complicated projects, delays from vendors can have a domino effect on contractors and the timing of when we come in to paint. Pur client greatly appreciated the Larkin team’s ability to quickly adapt. They found that Tom was “great about accommodating the change in timing” that occurred on this project.

We painted several areas in our client’s home, including the living room and kitchen. The fireplace received a complete makeover. Bye-bye green bricks. Hello, white wood. Our client also wanted major changes in their kitchen. We took down the cabinet doors and drawer faces so that they could be painted. We also painted the kitchen walls.

Our client thought the Larkin Painting team was “terrific”.

“They were professional and fastidious about their work. They made sure things were done. It was a fabulous team effort. It can be challenging to have people in your home but the Larkin team was very respectful. They are good at what they do. They are talented and wonderful. We are very appreciative of all that they did. Aesthetically, our spaces are completely different and we are thrilled. We are planning to have Larkin Painting come back to our home in the spring in order to tackle some more projects. We loved the entire team and we hope to see Israel and Jennifer again. They were all just wonderful.”
